In terms of cost, their business plans only differ by one or two dollars, with Google actually being more expensive. They each have similar capabilities and bundles with office applications. When you compare them it's like apples and oranges, one is not innately better than the other. One of the biggest competitors for OneDrive has to be Google Drive (or G Drive). The home plans aren’t reserved for non commercial use, you can use them for your side business or startup. This plan is ideal for families and individuals that may have a lot of pictures, family documents (like ancestry searches), financial documents, and personal projects. The kind of features personal OneDrive plans come with include: files on demand, file sharing, real-time collaboration, offline files, and anywhere editing. Only the Microsoft 365 business plans include Sharepoint, Exchange, and Teams. Any plan in home or business that says Microsoft 365 will come with Microsoft apps like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Word. Microsoft 365 refers to a suite of Microsoft Office Apps. Not all plans will have a month to month option without an annual commitment, which is noted on the tables below.
